Is Google’s time running out? Things would move more quickly with a search engine powered by ChatGPT, and a newly registered site suggests that it would emerge soon.
For several years, Google has dominated the search engine business in a way never seen before, with a market share of more than 91% in 2024. Though ChatGPT is noticeably more popular than its Gemini chatbot, the former hasn’t been able to keep up with the latter’s improvements.
It is now possible that ChatGPT may establish its own ChatGPT search engine, which could be the impetus required to eventually dethrone Google from the top spot.
